Ume-yu is a sento (bathhouse) located in the Gojo district of Kyoto. The manager's unbridled zeal for sento motivated him to takeover Ume-yu when he was just 25 years old. He has brought a renewed vibrancy to bathing culture through his playful approach to attracting and maintaining customers by selling local produce, hosting music events, and operating a thrift shop at the bathhouse.
